Receive the Presidentís Volunteer Service Award




A Group of Kingston Police Explorers, Volunteers and

Parents Prepare to Assemble Boxes of Food for the

2011 Annual Hands of Mercy Food Drive


The Kingston Police Explorer Post #376 is being honored with the United States Presidential Volunteer Service Award during the National Night Out event on August 7, 2012.This award recognizes the valuable contributions volunteers make in our communities and is a means of thanking these American who set a standard of service and inspire others to make service a central part of their lives.


The Explorers earned this honor by having completed more than 1,100 collective hours of community service as a group during the last eight months. They also accumulated a minimum of 25 hours of individual community service which earned them the Gold Level Presidential Volunteer Service Award.


Please join us at the National Night Out event on August 7 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at the City Park Pavilion where we plan to honor the Explorers for their commitment to our community.
